DC Rainmaker: September Garmin Forerunner 310XT Giveaway.
There you go, another Forerunner 310XT give away. This does not come with the heart rate strap, but hey, those are quite cheap actually, and the 310XT functions well without the HRM.

August: About 3-5 hours/week. 180km: 10km Hike, 68km Run, 2km walk, 100km Bike. 10K run PR (yay!) But unfortunately, disappointed with my bike mileage though. Too low. Need to cut my runs and start cycling more. This month has the most runs
Freeway to 10K running program week 1 (the one I told Norlinda to do). Doing this just to try increase my pace for 10K if ever possible
On the second half, Izat followed me. So I was showing him what intervals is all about. While I was tired out, working hard and sweating like a pig, the bugger was just warming down
This week it’s 5 times of 4 minute runs with 2 minutes rest intervals. 4 minutes felt like eternity while the 2 minutes rest was too short
And the last 4 minutes, man I was struggling. Hope it’s easier in two days time.

Meet Nury, the rugged mistress, the red bike belongs to my brother. Never posted her before in Dailymile, as it’s always Natasha, pics.
Izat and Selly, cannot go running, therefore, it’s time to start my Century training. Starting off with a 60km ride, went off with my rugged mistress, Nury and got my brother to tag along. So, this WAS supposed to be an LSD of sorts. But with some hills to attack, and some students to show off and race by, forget it. It’s a medium effort bout.
Being at Kranji, my brother’s worst fears, (being chased by dogs) came true, but really, those are sissy dogs, and can only chase for 10 meters before giving up
Going thru the farming area of Neo Tiew, the place reeks of manure, everywhere. Mostly fertilizers, but if you pass by a chicken farming area, phew, the smell became ‘interesting’.
Then it was the cemetery land of Lim Chu Kang/Jalan Bahar area. The Chinese cemetery area was full of white papers everywhere, on the road, the after effect of people praying to appease the ghosts that might be out, but these guys seems to want to attack the ‘problem’ at its source
Anyway, the closer we are to home, the more our thighs feels like burning up. So, it’s a good exercise, with lots of things to see, even at midnight. But if I do need to extend my training beyond 60km, I will have to leave my brother behind

Oh, and this was an iPhone 4 GPS test, and all I can say, was, that it works 1000% better than the 3G(S), it tracked the whole ride perfectly. See:

Unlike a lot of people here, this is my fastest run. Anyway, followed the formula at http://www.tips4running.com/Fartlek.html but somehow, can’t really do a 5 minute pace at the intervals. Oh well. The way this run is done, I don’t think I can beat my 10K PR of 1:10. I was actually very mindful of how I land my right foot, as the knees was about to give up when I walk prior to doing this workout. After the run it was ok though, so I decided to cool down by climbing up 14 floors up, twice. Sweet

Did a make out session with the foam roller, and some yoga poses. While we did have some fun, she can be a b*tch at times. Urgh!
Update: Added 30 minutes more of power yoga. PS: Chair pose sucks!
