Black Pepper Beef Rice on Hot Plate
This food is exactly the same as the Spicy Fish Rice on Hot Plate except that instead of fried fish, we have grilled (or fried) beef, with black pepper sauce on top of it.
I was having this for dinner in anticipation for at least a 30 to 40km ride tonight, unfortunately, it was raining 30 minutes after I gobbled all of the food.
That really sucks. Should have consulted the weather report, or, eat less. Oh well.
If you are travelling in Singapore, your experience is never complete if you’ve never tried chicken rice.
Although the presentation looks simple, it’s the rice that is cooked in chicken broth that makes this dish tasty.
Have not had dinner so, I’m having supper before going for a long walk.

To fill my tummy for the rest of the night is the prata egg and prata kosong (no filling, just dough, fried). You usually dip this in mutton curry, or it tastes nice too with sugar.
Unlike pita, chapatti or naan. This food is very oily, and you almost feel guilty after eating. But a prata can last a very long time, up to 5 to 6 hours and you don’t feel full at all, just satisfied. Unfortunately for some people, pratas can make you visit the loo in the next 15 minutes.

Telur satu, kosong satu!
Well, today’s lunch was quite a lot. It’s definitely one of my favorite. White rice with egg and fried fish bits smothered with hot sambal. On the vege side there’s bean sprouts, some carrots, broccoli and cauliflower. I wished there’s more vege though.

Tastes good
Ate the chicken cutlet noodle for dinner. I don’t really fancy noodles, especially dry ones, like this one. But don’t get me wrong, it is tasty. Don’t like the fact that for $3.80, I got like 3 or 4 little pieces of chicken, but tons of noodles. Should probably just ask for a bit less noodles, as I felt rather full.

Simple yet nice tasting food.
Ate rojak for dinner, which is a kind of salad. I don’t really think this is healthy food as it is sweet and there’s lots of nuts sprinkled on it.

A salad of sorts
Contents are: pineapple, apple, turnip, peanuts, grilled tofu, peanuts and char kue (deep fried wheat flour)
